Livingston Parish Council approves changes to election day

LIVINGSTON PARISH- The Livingston Parish Council approved new polling locations at a meeting Thursday night. Several of the original locations were damaged in last month's flooding. All polling locations will maintain the same hours on the  November 8th and December 10th election days.

Early voting for the November 8th election begins on October 25th and will last until November 1st from 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. except for Sunday. Only for early voting, Voters can cast early ballots at the Juban Crossing and Parish Registrar of Voters locations.

The state and the clerk of courts offices in Livingston Parish worked together to make sure those displaced residents had a location to go and vote.

ELECTION DAY VOTING LOCATION CHANGES:

South Side Junior High polling location will move to Juban Crossing
precinct 24
precinct 24B
precinct 24C

Denham Springs City Hall will move to Denham Springs Junior High
precinct 25

Denham Springs Elementary will be moving to Juban Crossing

precinct 26
precinct 26A
precinct 26B
precinct 26C

Southside Elementary will be Juban Crossing

precinct 28
precinct 28B
