GREEN BAY - LSU fans are arriving in Wisconsin ahead of Saturday's game with all the essentials: spirit, excitement, fan gear and crawfish!

"We've brought 31 pounds of crawfish tails for Étouffée on Friday night," Lisa Francise said as she arrived at the airport this week.

For many Tiger fans, this weekend will be a much needed break from the reality of life back at home: flooded and gutted homes with a constant whirling of fans and dehumidifiers. Temporarily, they'll trade the gloves, hammers and hums of renovation projects for purple and gold outfits, drinks and cheers.

"The party started last night; we stayed in New Orleans and flew out this morning," another LSU fan, Laura Diagle, said at the airport.

The two women are part of a 31-person LSU entourage that have spent the last twenty years following the Tigers to away games. They said a trip to Lambeau Field was on their bucket list.

"Two years ago we started planning," they said.

"We're going to be tailgating by the stadium. We're going to be offering food to all of our friends and enemies," others added.

Green Bay tourism officials estimate the LSU vs. Wisconsin game will break revenue records generated during Packers home games. When the Packers are at home at Lambeau, there is a $13 million economic impact.

"I think this will be by far and away the biggest weekend this town has ever seen," owner of the popular Green Bay bar Stadium View said in an interview with the Green Bay ABC affiliate, WBAY.
