Federal grand jury indicts BR man on child porn charges

BATON ROUGE - A federal grand jury has returned an indictment for a part-time owner of a hotel accused of the distribution and possession of child porn.

According to U.S. Attorney Walt Green, 53-year-old Christopher Young, of Baton Rouge, was the part-time owner of a hotel in Costa Rica where he frequently traveled for business and vacation.

Young allegedly received two videos of young boys engaging in bestiality from an associate in Costa Rica.

He also allegedly distributed child porn videos to 38 different individuals on 33 separate occasions through his smartphones from 2013 through 2015.

The case is being investigated by the FBI and is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Cam T. Le and Rene Salomon.
