WALKER – Louisiana Department of Health and Hospital employees will be inspecting areas in Walker, Denham Springs and surrounding areas for flood-related health hazards.

The inspections will take place over the next few days and will be conducted during daylight hours. DHH representatives will have a Louisiana DHH photo ID enclosed in plastic clipped to their shirts or on lanyards (see above photo for example).

The Walker Police Department encourages residents not to hesitate to ask DHH representatives they see in their area for their ID. Residents are also encouraged to contact law enforcement if they have any concerns.
