BATON ROUGE- Metro Council members will discuss the future of the Brandywine apartment complex at their meeting on Wednesday. The apartments are located on Darryl Drive in Baton Rouge.

The Metro Council will talk about a plan proposed by City Holdings, LLC that offers to buy part of the derelict complex.

The apartments have had a bevy of problems over the past few years, making them virtually unlivable. However, some people are still staying in their units because they have nowhere else to go.

City Holdings wants to renovate the buildings and make them habitable again.
