Area road closed due to filming of 'The Highwaymen'
THIBODAUX- Filming for a new Netflix movie will close down a road in Thibodaux today.
According to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office, Laurel Valley Road will be closed from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. for the filming of 'The Highwaymen.'
Actors Woody Harrelson and Kevin Costner will play legendary lawman Frank Hamer and Manny Gault. The two Texas Rangers tracked down notorious outlaws Bonnie and Clyde, according to a release by the parish government.
John Lee Hancock will direct the film, which will focus on the posse organized to end Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow's crime spree on May 23, 1934 in Bienville Parish.
