BATON ROUGE - Former LSU Baseball Star and current Houston Astro Alex Bregman says he will be at this weekend's home football game vs Arkansas.

Bregman confirmed his planned appearance during an "Ask Me Anything" thread on Reddit Monday. When asked if he plans to visit LSU for any future sporting events, Bregman said he'd be at the Tigers' home game versus the Razorbacks.

"Yes I'll be at the LSU-Arkansas game," Bregman confirmed.

Saturday will mark Bregman's first appearance at LSU since he and the Houston Astros won the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers last week. 

Bregman earned numerous accolades in his time at LSU, which included becoming a first-team All-American in 2015.

Kickoff for the LSU-Arkansas game is set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Tiger Stadium.
