BATON ROUGE – A small snafu was more nuisance than emergency at the airport Tuesday afternoon.

A corporate jet ran into the grass while taxiing after landing at the airport shortly after lunch. The jet turned too sharply and ran off the runway, an airport spokesperson said.

As with any emergency at the airport, authorities are called and prepared for the worst type of airline emergency. The swift response was quickly downgraded and emergency personnel were called off.

There were no injuries.

Airport operations were not impacted.
