BATON ROUGE - LSU Baseball does not get the clean sweep as they fall to Auburn in game three of the series 7-5 on Sunday afternoon.

Auburn had the hot hand first plating five runs in the first inning and tacking on two more in the third and sixth innings.

LSU did not score a run until Ashton Larson hit an RBI single to right field sending Michael Braswell III home.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, Steven Milam hit his third home run of the season to left center field that brought home three more runs.

Ashton Larson would hit a sacrifice fly ball to send home Alex Milazzo in the seventh inning for LSU's fifth run of the game, but the Tiger bats could not do any more to get the win over Auburn.

However, their wins on Friday and Saturday secured the series victory; their second SEC series win of the season.

LSU is back at home on Tuesday to face Grambling State at 6:30 p.m.

BATON ROUGE - The LSU softball team picked up a much-needed win over Arkansas on Sunday, 1-0.

Sydney Berzon pitched seven shutout innings, allowing just three hits and striking out six Razorbacks.

LSU's Ciara Briggs brought home the only run of the game on an RBI double in the fifth inning.

After losing two out of three games this weekend, the Tigers finish SEC play at 12-12. LSU (36-13 overall) finishes the regular season with a series against Liberty starting Friday at Tiger Park.

BATON ROUGE - Josh Pearson sent LSU baseball fans home happy Saturday night.

The outfielder hit a walk-off single to propel LSU to a 3-2 victory over Auburn. LSU has won three straight SEC games after starting the season 4-13 in conference play.

Luke Holman pitched well for LSU, tossing 6.2 innings and allowing just two runs on two Auburn hits.

Tommy White and Jared Jones hit back-to-back home runs in the fourth inning.

LSU (28-16) goes for their first SEC series sweep this season on Sunday at 1 p.m.

BATON ROUGE - No. 6 LSU Softball dropped game two Saturday and lost the series against No. 15 Arkansas with a final score of 4-1.

The Razorbacks' first run of the game came off of an RBI double from Kennedy Miller, but LSU answered in the next frame when Raeleen Gutierrez scored on a wild pitch.

However, that would be LSU's only run and they'd give up three more to the Hogs.

In the third inning, Arkansas scored two runs off of two bases-loaded walks. Kennedy Miller plated another in the same inning with an RBI single.

LSU now sits at 35-13 overall and 11-12 in conference play.

The Tigers and Razorbacks close out the series Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Tiger Park.
