BATON ROUGE -  LSU Baseball looks to take their third SEC series win over top ranked Texas A&M Saturday night.

The Tigers beat the Aggies in a thriller at Alex Box Stadium Friday night courtesy of a four run sixth inning.

Tonight, RHP Luke Holman will start on the mound for LSU and LHP Justin Lamkin will start for Texas A&M.

If LSU wins on Saturday, they will win the series, but lose and the rubber match will be Sunday afternoon.

The game starts at 6:30 p.m. at Alex Box Stadium and will be broadcasted on ESPN2.

BATON ROUGE - LSU gained an important win over No. 1 Texas A&M 6-4 after a four-run sixth inning that propelled them to the top.

Trailing 3-2 going into the sixth, LSU responded with a two RBI double from Josh Pearson that gave them the lead. LSU added to the score with a sacrifice fly from Hayden Travinski and an RBI single from Steven Milam.

Gage Jump started at pitcher for LSU, and he struck out four hitters while allowing three runs and six hits in 5.1 innings pitched.

LSU faces the Aggies at Alex Box 6:30 Saturday.

BATON ROUGE - No. 10 LSU softball defeated Liberty 4-0 in the first game of their series Friday night.

Starting pitcher Sydney Berzon allowed five hits through seven innings, but Liberty failed to score any runs the entire game. Berzon also recorded four strikeouts.

LSU and Liberty's series continues 6 p.m. Saturday at Tiger Park.
