GARYVILLE - Deputies in St. John Parish recovered a man's body from the Mississippi River on April 24 and have determined that the man went missing two months prior. 

According to the St. John Parish Sheriff's Office, Keith Cammon Jr's car was found unoccupied at the Veteran's Memorial Bridge in Gramercy Feb. 16. 

Deputies found a badly decomposed body in the Mississippi River around Garyville on April 24. Less than a week later, authorities identified the man as Cammon.
