Southern University Centennial Art Exhibit
BATON ROUGE - Southern University will be home to a special art exhibit as part of its 100 Year Centennial celebration.
"The Importance of Art to HBCUs in This New Millennium" exhibit opened Wednesday. It features work from arts at 24 different Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The exhibit will be open through the end of October.
An Opening Reception to celebrate the exhibit is Friday, September 5th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Visual Arts Gallery in Frank Hayden Hall.
