PORT ALLEN - One man is dead following a Tuesday shooting in Port Allen.
Port Allen police were seen in the area of Avenue A around 3:30 p.m. Authorities confirmed to WBRZ that one person had been shot and rushed to a hospital in critical condition.

Wednesday morning police said the victim, identified as 19-year-old Dedrick Jackson, died from his injuries. No further information was provided.
