LSU Tigers in the Super Bowl
BATON ROUGE - LSU has had no shortage of players go on to play in the Super Bowl after their college career concludes. News 2's John Pastorek looks back in this edition of Louisiana Super Bowl legends.
LSU's only Heisman Trophy winner, Billy Cannon played in one Super Bowl with the Oakland Raiders. Another great Tiger running back, Jimmy Taylor, won Super Bowl I with the Green Bay Packers.
Devery Henderson was involved in one of the most memorable plays in LSU History with the "Blue Grass Miracle" and THE most memorable Super Bowl for Saints fans. He won a ring with the black and gold in 2009.
Eddie Fuller made it to three with Buffalo Bills, while Jarvis Green did the same with the New England Patriots.
One of the most dominant defensive players of the 70's, Roy "Moonie" Winston, has the second most all-time. He played in four with the Minnesota Vikings.
The player who holds the record for most Super Bowl trips by a former Tiger is is Kevin Faulk. After dazzling fans with his speed, quickness and Power, he mad five trips to the big game with the New England Patriots.
