"I was scared," the woman said, asking not to be identified since the robber is still on the loose.
Video of the encounter was released by the New Roads Police Department to WBRZ Friday in hopes the video will lead to someone identifying the man who robbed the Tiger Trax gas station. Police have run into a dead end, and hope some publicity will get the case solved.
The victim hopes she'll be able to live with less worry, too, knowing the person who forced a gun to her head will be locked up.
"We ask the public to see if anybody knows anything about it and give us some information," Lt. Shell Stringer said.
The victim said she was in fear for the brief time the robber was in the store, worried she was going to die.
"I wanted to make it home to my kids," she said remembering she tried to stay focused on giving the man what he wanted while he was in the store. "That's all I could even think about," she said.
The woman tossed cash at the man, who ran off after taking what he wanted.
