ZACHARY - Police are looking for information on a man accused of stealing several hundred dollars worth of meat from a food store in Zachary last month.

Zachary police said they responded to LeBlanc's Food Store on Sept. 4 after an employee confronted a man as he attempted to walk out of the store with about $600 worth of meat products.

The employee who thwarted last week's meat heist told law enforcement that the man he stopped was the same suspect who successfully stole about $400 in meat products on Aug. 31.

The suspect was captured by surveillance cameras as he left the food store's parking lot in a late 90's, black Ford F-150. According to investigators, the truck is missing the rear glass on the driver's side back window.

The Zachary Police Department urges anyone with information about the case to contact their Criminal Investigations Division's Office at (225) 654-1905 or (225) 654-9393.
