Wyandotte Street shooting victim dies
BATON ROUGE - The parish coroner said a man shot on Wyandotte Street in East Baton Rouge Parish Friday has died.
Coroner Beau Clark confirmed the victim's name as Michael Howard. Police said he was shot in the 3800 block of Wyandotte near North 38th Street around 1 p.m.
Officers said when they arrived they found the 32-year-old man lying in a driveway with multiple gunshot wounds. EMS took him from the scene with life threatening injuries, and he later died.
Neighbors said they heard multiple shots and looked over in the direction of the noise, then a man lying near the back of a parked vehicle in someone's yard.

BRPD says the motive to this shooting is unknown at this time, but urged anyone with information about the shooting to contact the Violent Crimes Unit at (225) 389-4869.
