Wreck causes I-10 traffic jam
BATON ROUGE - Traffic officials said a wreck on I-10 West has slowed down traffic significantly through Baton Rouge.
The Department of Transportation and Development said the wreck happened near South Acadian Thruway around 1:20 p.m. It blocked the center and left lanes of I-10 West.
DOTD said westbound congestion was pushed back past the I-10 / I-12 merge, and eastbound traffic was also congested back across the Mississippi River Bridge just before 2 p.m.
One person was injured in the wreck.
