BATON ROUGE - Nine home meetings, including a rematch with National Champion UConn, highlight the 2016-17 LSU women's basketball non-conference schedule.

The full schedule to include Southeastern Conference matchups will be announced at a later date.

The Lady Tigers will host an exhibition contest against LeMoyne-Owen on Nov. 6, before the official season opener against Louisiana Tech on Nov. 11 in Ruston.

LSU will host Wake Forest (Nov. 13), Rice (Nov. 16) and UConn (Nov. 20) before closing out the month at the Paradise Jam. This will be the first time that the Huskies have faced LSU in the PMAC since the 2007-08 season. That game saw LSU's 12th-largest crowd of 9,763 fans.
