Woman wanted for murder after deadly Sunday shooting
BATON ROUGE - Police say a Baton Rouge woman is wanted for murder after a deadly shooting on North Marque Ann Drive Sunday afternoon.
According to Baton Rouge Police, 23-year-old Kiera Turner is wanted for the shooting death of 22-year-old De Shannon Browder. Police say Turner shot Browder multiple times after a verbal fight at 1819 North Marque Ann Drive around 2:50 p.m. Sunday.
BRPD said Browder was transported to a local hospital where she later died from her injuries.
Turner is wanted for second-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Baton Rouge Police Violent Crime Unit at 225-389-4869.
