CECILIA, La. (AP) - Authorities say a woman has been accused of stealing flowers and other items from graves at a cemetery in Louisiana.

News outlets cite a statement from the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office as saying that 42-year-old Rhonda Lagrange was arrested Saturday on a simple burglary charge. The statement says deputies were called Friday about a woman stealing flowers at a Catholic cemetery in Cecilia.

The sheriff's office says deputies obtained a search warrant for Lagrange's home and found floral arrangements, religious statues, and other items. It says more charges are possible for the Arnaudville resident. Deputies were already investigating other thefts at the cemetery from December, and now more have been reported.

It is unclear if Lagrange has a lawyer who could comment for her.
