Woman accused of embezzling $465K from employer
BATON ROUGE - Federal prosecutors accuse a former office manager at a Baton Rouge electrical engineering firm of embezzling $465,000 from the company.
U.S. Attorney Walt Green said Wednesday that 46-yeaer-old Lori Fry was indicted by a federal grand jury on nine counts of wire fraud. Green says the indictment accuses the former manager and bookkeeper of diverting more than 100 separate payments from the firm's account for her own personal use through her personal bank account.
It was unclear whether Fry has an attorney.
