With Monday evening release, only 2 shooting victims remain in hospital
LAFAYETTE - Another person injured in a movie theater shooting here was released from the hospital Monday evening.
The patient was released from Lafayette General, police said. Earlier, doctors had listed the patient in "good condition." Their name was not released.
As of this post, only two people remained in two other hospitals. Doctors listed those patients as in good and fair conditions. Names of those remaining under doctor's care were withheld, too.
Nine people were shot and wounded when John Russell Houser opened fire in the movie theater Thursday. Two people were also shot and died.
Jillian Johnson, 33, and Mayci Breaux, 21, were killed. Funeral services for them were held, separately, Monday.
