BATON ROUGE - A Department of Corrections inmate was recaptured Saturday after spending two days on the run.

24-year-old Damarkius Spears is now facing escape charges after he was last seen at his work release job on Wednesday.
     
Details of his capture were not available.

Spears is being held in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a $5,000 bond.
