Two men sentenced in death of New Orleans officer's daughter
NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Two men have been sentenced to 20 years in prison for the shooting death of a New Orleans police officer's daughter.
News outlets reported that 23-year-old Jaleel Broadway and 23-year-old Will Reed pleaded guilty Monday to conspiracy to commit second-degree murder in the 2015 death of 20-year-old Milan Arriola.
The men were originally charged with second-degree murder. Investigators think the men were shooting at the victim's boyfriend. Arriola was shot when several people opened fire on the car where she was riding in the front passenger seat.
