DES MOINES, Iowa - President-elect Donald Trump wants Michigan Republican Party Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel to be national party chairwoman.
The choice of McDaniel to serve as Republican National Committee chairwoman was confirmed last night by a person familiar with Trump's decision.
Republicans carried Michigan for the first time in 28 years.
