Updates to Valentine’s page on LSUSports.net’s official roster confirm that the player will wear No. 55 this season.
Valentine originally signed to LSU and was officially with the team in 2014, but he wasn’t eligible to play and was redshirted as a result. He would be dismissed from LSU last summer with the school citing off-field team violations, according to 247Sports.com.
He’ll have three years of eligibility remaining with the Tigers. College football analysts say Valentine’s return is a major boost to LSU's defensive lineup for the season ahead.
