Traffic signal flashing at intersection near LSU
BATON ROUGE - A temporary traffic signal is now flashing at a busy intersection near LSU's campus.
According to LSU Police, the light at the intersection of West Lakeshore Dr. and East Parker Blvd. will be put into "caution" mode this morning. If you're driving on West Lakeshore, it will be flashing yellow. If you approach on East Parker, it will be flashing red.
Police want to give drivers a few days to get accustomed to the new signal. Beginning Monday, the light will begin functioning like a normal signal.
LSU PD says the temporary signal will remain while a study is being conducted to develop and construct a more permanent solution.
