BATON ROUGE - Traffic homicide investigators were called to a crash that closed I-110 Wednesday night.
The wreck happened shortly before 9 and closed southbound lanes at Harding Boulevard. A traffic camera at North 72nd Street showed numerous emergency vehicles and orange cones blocking the Interstate.
There may have been multiple vehicles involved but a shadowy vehicle could be seen in the middle of the Interstate. Police said there was limited information to release as of this post.
It is typical for the traffic homicide unit to be called to serious accident scenes.
More will likely be released overnight. Check back for updates.
