Tiger softball crushes McNeese 13-4 in five inning game
LSU Softball traveled to McNeese and quickly made the home team uncomfortable scoring 13 runs in the first three innings.
The Tigers beat the McNeese State Cowgirls 13-4 in a run rule shortened five inning game Wednesday night.
The game was not all favorable for LSU, as the Tigers committed three errors in the early stages of the contest.
A fearsome foursome of Tigers posted remarkable nights at the plate as Bailey Landry who went 2-for-2 with two RBI and a run scored, Bianka Bell going 2-for-3 with two RBI, Sahvanna Jaquish going 2-for-2 with a double and run scored, and Sandra Simmons going 2-for-2 with three runs scored and two walks.
Junior outfielder Alayna Falcon hit her first home run of her LSU career, it was a grand slam.
The Tigers will host Texas A&M in an odd Saturday, Sunday and Monday series.
