LSU Softball traveled to McNeese and quickly made the home team uncomfortable scoring 13 runs in the first three innings.

The Tigers beat the McNeese State Cowgirls 13-4 in a run rule shortened five inning game Wednesday night.

The game was not all favorable for LSU, as the Tigers committed three errors in the early stages of the contest.

A fearsome foursome of Tigers posted remarkable nights at the plate as Bailey Landry who went 2-for-2 with two RBI and a run scored, Bianka Bell going 2-for-3 with two RBI, Sahvanna Jaquish going 2-for-2 with a double and run scored, and Sandra Simmons going 2-for-2 with three runs scored and two walks.

Junior outfielder Alayna Falcon hit her first home run of her LSU career, it was a grand slam.

The Tigers will host Texas A&M in an odd Saturday, Sunday and Monday series.
