BATON ROUGE- Three people were shot late Thursday night and police are investigating the crime.

Police said two different vehicles were involved in the shooting, and the situation centered on Buchanan Street and Thomas Delpit Drive.

The victims were taken to an area hospital for gun shot wounds; their conditions were unknown when police emailed a press release to area media outlets.
