Thousands without power near Jefferson Highway
BATON ROUGE - More than 2,000 residents were left without power in Baton Rouge after an outage late Sunday night.
According to Entergy, about 2,090 of its customers are without power in the area of I-12, just west of Jefferson Highway. Witnesses say the outage occurred after a vehicle crash in the area.

Entergy says it is currently working to restore power to the area and expects to have it back by 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
