Third suspect arrested in front door murder
BATON ROUGE- Deputies arrested a third person related to a shooting last week.
Tuesday, the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office announced it arrested Trevon Sandolph. Sandolph is charged with murder and illegal use of a weapon in the death of Ivan Molina.
Byron Maxson and Troy Carter were already in jail when Sandolph was arrested. The pair were picked up over the weekend. Carter suffered a gun shot wound, likely shot by either the victim or Maxson at some point before his arrest.
Investigators believe the group and the victim had a feud.
Molina was shot when he answered a knock at his door in the 16000 block of George O'Neal Lane. The trio are suspected with opening fire on him.
