Thibodaux man charged with rape of minor
THIBODAUX- An 18-year old area man has been arrested by the Lafourche Parish Sheriff for the rape of a minor.
On Wednesday, juvenile detectives opened an investigation after learning of a rape involving a child under the age of 13 and Kendriontae Johnson. During their investigation, detectives learned that Johnson had allegedly forced the child to have sexual intercourse with him.
On Thursday, Johnson was questioned by authorities. While being questioned, Johnson admitted to the crime. He was arrested and transported to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center and booked with first degree rape.
