Temporary foul poles for next game
BATON ROUGE- A severe storm carrying winds over 50 mph, passed through Baton Rouge Monday morning, knocking down trees and powerlines across the area.
Both foul poles located at Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field were also damaged. After the storm, one of the foul poles was left lying down on the baseball field and the other ended up by the adjacent playground on the property, that's used by kids during games.
Coach Paul Mainieri said that temporary foul poles of about 20 feet will be in place when LSU hosts Missouri May 8-10. This will be LSU's final home series match-up, of their regular season.
