Students learn about digital and broadcast media
BATON ROUGE - Students at Galvez Middle School learned from WBRZ chief investigator Chris Nakamoto and sports anchor Chris Price about how the news industry works Friday morning.
Nakamoto and Price told the students about what it's like gathering news, filming and editing stories, and putting them online as well as on TV.
The students also took part in a project so they could see how quickly news can spread through the internet.
About 150 students took part in the sessions.
