State Troopers seeking Hit and Run driver
ALBANY, La. - Louisiana State Troopers are investigating a hit and run accident that left a 14-year-old male in serious condition.
Just before 10:00 p.m. Friday, Troopers began investigations involving a hit and run on LA 43 north in Livingston Parish.
Two pedestrians were walking in the southbound lane when a vehicle attempted to pass another vehicle that was driving in the northbound lane. The passing vehicle struck the teenager, and made a U-turn fleeing the scene, heading southbound.
The witnesses said that the vehicle may be a dark GMC or Chevrolet pickup. The vehicle may have damage on the front end.
The investigation is ongoing, and the Troopers are asking for anyone that may have information on the vehicle to contact Louisiana State Police Troop A at 225-754-8500, or local law enforcement agencies.
