State closes offices in 6 parishes over flooding
BATON ROUGE - The flooding in north Louisiana has caused the state to close offices in six parishes.
Commissioner of Administration Jay Dardenne ordered offices in Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, Morehouse and Webster parishes to close Wednesday. Also closed are Louisiana Tech and Grambling State University.
Dardenne says his office will continue to monitor weather condition and update the closure list if necessary.
State employees should be aware of the following phone numbers to call, which will be updated with information regarding office closures: 1.800.360.9660 or 225.342.0498.
