State Civil Service to hold Aug. 6 career fair
BATON ROUGE - Several state agencies will be represented at a targeted career fair hosted by the Louisiana Department of State Civil Service next Wednesday.
The Department of Children and Family Services, the Department of Corrections, Eastern LA Mental Health System, the Department of Public Safety, the Office of Juvenile Justice and the Office of State Fire Marshal will be seeking candidates for a range of job opportunities.
The agencies are looking to fill positions in the following areas:
- Adult and Juvenile Probation and Parole Officers
- Corrections Medical Staff (LPN and RN)
- Correctional Officers
- Mental Health Staff (LPN)
- Police Officers
- Professional Social Services Staff
The career fair will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 6, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Baton Rouge Information and Recruiting Office located at 5825 Florida Boulevard.
