Stalled vehicle causes I-10 East delays on bridge
BATON ROUGE - The Friday evening commute into Baton Rouge from Port Allen is off with a bang as a stalled vehicle has closed multiple lanes of I-10 East.
As of 3:15 p.m., the left and center lanes remained blocked on I-10 eastbound on the Mississippi River Bridge due to the breakdown. By 3:30 p.m., the center lane was reopened leaving the left lane blocked.
Traffic officials say all lanes are now open, but congestion from the incident is backed up to LA 77 near Gross Tete.
