Some state government offices, parks, libraries closing early due to severe weather threat
BATON ROUGE- Some state government offices are closing early Tuesday due to the possibility of extreme weather.

State government offices in 15 parishes will close at noon.
Officials said agency heads will be in charge of determining who needs to stay on duty and who is able to leave early.
Mid-morning Tuesday, BREC announced it will close its administrative offices at 11 a.m. All parks, recreation centers, tennis centers and the zoo in EBR Parish will close at noon.

EBR Public Libraries announced they'll also close at noon due to the weather threat. The 19th Judicial District will also be closing at 11:30 a.m.

St. Helena
St. John The Baptist
