Since all schools have power, classes resume in Iberville Wednesday
PLAQUEMINE - Students in Iberville Parish will return to school as scheduled Wednesday.
The superintendent said Tuesday, all facilities had power restored and classes would resume. Some schools were closed Tuesday because power was out following a day of severe weather.
As of this post, only about 1500 Entergy customers were still without power. There were a greater number in the dark in Baton Rouge, though.
The superintendent said students at all Iberville Parish public schools should report to class Wednesday morning.
