Sheriff's deputies: 1 killed, 2 injured in LaPlace shooting
LAPLACE- The St. John Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a triple shooting that left one person dead and two others injured.
The shooting happened just before 2 a.m. Monday at a home in the 400 block of State Street in Laplace.
Deputies discovered two shooting victims at the home, and a third victim was driven to the emergency room at Ochsner River Parish in LaPlace.
Deputies say a 23-year-old Travis Gregoire of LaPlace died from his wounds.
An 18-year-old female victim and a 23-year-old male victim are being treated at a New Orleans hospital
Further details about the shooting were not immediately available.
