Severe injuries reported in wreck that closed I-10 Monday night
BATON ROUGE- Police reported possible severe injuries in a crash that closed I-10 westbound just before the river bridge Monday night.
A state traffic camera showed one vehicle overturned. The crash scene was surrounded by numerous first responders, police officers and their emergency response vehicles.
Westbound lanes of the interstate closed just before the I-10 entrance ramp from Nicholson and remained closed for about two hours.
All lanes were cleared of debris and opened to traffic before 11 p.m.
