Road opens after truck spills heavy load
SLAUGHTER - A road is now open after it took several hours to clean up a heavy load an 18-wheeler spilled in East Feliciana Parish.
It happened around 11:00 p.m. last night on LA 957 north of LA 412 in Slaughter.
Officials say the truck took a turn and spilled several metal pallets it was transporting.
State troopers said it did not appear that anyone was injured.
