NEW ORLEANS- In a multi-agency human trafficking investigation in metro New Orleans, a 17-year-old victim has been rescued and a man police believe was her pimp has been arrested.
State police say in a news release that 26-year-old James Muse of New Orleans was arrested Saturday without incident. The human trafficking investigation included New Orleans police, Louisiana State Police, the FBI and the Kenner Police Department.
State police spokeswoman Melissa Matey says law enforcement authorities identified Muse as the victim's pimp during an interview.
