Police speaking to man about officer's shooting
DETROIT - Wayne State University police officer is recovering after being shot in the head, and authorities in Detroit say they're questioning a man about the attack.
Police say 29-year-old Officer Colin Rose had radioed Tuesday evening to say he was investigating possible thefts of navigation systems from cars and SUVs, and was about to speak to someone apparently on a bike.
Officers arriving at the scene found Rose on the ground.
