Pelicans beats Trail Blazers 115-89
NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Anthony Davis scored 28 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the New Orleans Pelicans to a 115-89 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night.
Tyreke Evans nearly added a triple-double, scoring 24 points to go with nine rebounds and eight assists and reserve Jrue Holiday had 19 points as New Orleans won two straight games for just the second time this season.
The game changed with 4 minutes to play in the first half when New Orleans turned a 36-34 lead into a 51-36 halftime advantage. Portland never recovered.
C.J. McCollum had 19 points and seven assists to lead Portland, which was without Damian Lillard for the second time this season.
