BAKER - A Baker High School parent is fed up with her daughter's school's response to her bullying situation over the past several weeks.

Tianne Moore says her daughter was jumped by six girls in her Baker neighborhood, leaving her with a black eye and a bruised leg. She says her daughter was approached by the same group of girls Monday at school.

"It went from them being friends to the girl just lashing out at my daughter constantly picking, constantly aggravating her basically bullying because it's more than one girl," Moore said.

Moore visited the school on Monday and she said the principal was not available, so she was directed to a faculty member.

"When we got into the office he asked me what did I want him to do? To me that's not the approach. And he was like 'so you're going to pull your daughter out?'" Moore said.

Moore took a step further, filing police reports with the Baker Police Department.

Baker Police is investigating the off-campus fight. As for the campus bullying, Police Chief Carl Dunn says the Baker School System stopped staffing the school with a resource officer this year.

"This starts off very small, which it could have been headed off ahead of time if that officer was there," Dunn said.

Moore says she just wants something to be done, and plans to meet with the superintendent Tuesday.

"I'm not going to let my child become a statistic because bullying is a major problem in the school's today. And I'm not going to let my daughter have to put up with it, and she does not have put up with it and neither does any other child," Moore said.
