Oscar Pistorius released to house arrest
JOHANNESBURG- South African Olympic runner Oscar Pistorius has gone from behind bars to his uncle's upscale home near Pretoria.
The 28-year-old double-amputee has been released from prison, after serving about a year of his five-year sentence for manslaughter in the shooting death of girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
South African law allows Pistorius to serve the remainder of his sentence in house arrest.
